Featured Wood: Union Station Douglas Fir

Union Station was built by the L&N Railroad and was opened in 1900 with a fanfare celebration. In 1986 the old train terminal which was abandoned for many years was renovated and reopened as a hotel. We obtained some of the wood from the floor joists of the original building which was Douglas Fir, and later we obtained wood from the Train Shed which was an architectural marvel. It was demolished to make room for a parking lot. Order your pen made with this wood and we'll craft a bit of history you can carry in your pocket.
